Garage flooring pre-move - Vinyl, gym flooring?
Hey folks - we recently became homeowners in NorCal. We predominantly use the garage for storage, a home gym, and a “standing desk workstation”.
Seeing as it’s mostly a gym, I didn’t want to leave the exposed concrete as the floor, and would rather cover it with something.
On the flip side we don’t want to spend too much money, as we are already WAY above our budget for our renovation for the rest of house.
The rather cheap options I thought about were vinyl carpet by the foot, gym flooring tiles, or carpet (which the wife basically disqualified :) )
Any suggestions that I’m missing out on? Also, as a DIY project, besides the material itself - vinyl or gym tiles - what do I need in addition to secure it in the ends/corners? Just a simple double-sided tape?
