Took the Alpinist for a hike in its natural habitat
So far I’m very happy with my Alpinist. It cuts a fine figure in many different situations. Its style is distinctive and idiosyncratic without being flashy. I especially love the combination of tool-watch looks and Art Deco touches. The sand-colored strap pairs beautifully with the green dial, which appears noticeably darker in most lighting conditions. Here, under the blazing sun on a meadow high up in the Bernese Alps, was the perfect opportunity to share this moment.
The automatic movement runs way better than advertised. I‘m probably around +/- 15 seconds per week. The small lines you see on the glass is just fluff. No scratches yet!
