Anodized part that touches clutch oil
Hi guys!
I want to strip the coating/paint off my clutch pressure plate on my bike. I recently bought a custom part, but unfortunately it came in a colour I’m not really happy with, and I haven’t been able to find any silver alternatives anywhere. Since the pressure plate sits inside the clutch and comes into contact with the oil, I’m worried that stripping the finish could contaminate or damage the clutch oil in some way. Has anyone done this before or know if it’s safe? Any advice, experience, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
