Sister Act I & II
I don't see either of these films mentioned much, and I think that's a shame. Yes, they're both comedies but there's a really positive message about how one person can be a mentor and inspiration to those who don't see much hope in their lives, how one person can change an entire community.
The music is great, the supporting actors are perfect in their roles, the plot is smooth and supports the story and, by golly, Whoopi Goldberg can sing and dance. She reminds me of John Belushi in the "Blues Brothers".
