YSK: Holding your car key fob under your chin actually doubles its range
When your car remote doesn't reach, hold the fob directly against the underside of your chin and press the button while pointing your chin toward the general area of your car.
Most fobs will gain an extra 50-80 feet of range this way. It works because the water and conductive tissue in your head acts as an extension of the fob's tiny antenna, improving how the radio signal radiates.
Why YSK: This is a useful skill for saving time and avoiding stress in large parking lots, malls, or when your fob battery is low. Instead of walking around pressing the button repeatedly, you can locate your car faster and more reliably from a distance. #education
