Question about soldering on steel
Can I solder two pieces of steel together? I have a motorcycle tank, made of steel, and I want to shape little devil horns out of a sheet of steel and attach them to the gas tank. I don't have access to any welding equipment but I have a soldering gun from a previous project that I was thinking would be ok to attach the horns. The solder would just be keeping them in place, they obviously would have no structural purpose. I understand that would kind of just be like gluing them on and that it's not a permanent bond. What do you think?
