What is the difference between a $50, $500, and $10,000 watch?
I don’t really know anything about watches so I’m genuinely curious what is the difference between watches. Besides keeping time more accurately and build quality I can’t fathom what makes a watch worth 10-100X more than others. Surely not having to reset the time to makeup for a few minutes a year isn’t worth thousands of dollars? I’m sure I’m just ignorant to the market but is there a reason that watches are so expensive other than status?
