Blade's 3rd writer, Michael Starburry, denies allegations made in the recent Variety article
After the movie's first director, Bassam Tariq, left the project, in-house Marvel Studios writer Beau DeMayo (Moon Knight, X-Men '97) was hired to rewrite Stacy Osei-Kuffour's original script, but he didn't stay on the project long before he was replaced with Starburry who was hired at the same time as the new director Yann Demange, and they worked on the script together. A few months after that, they hired a co-writer, Nic Pizzolato, to help.
Both Pizzolato and Starburry have since been let go and Logan's writer, Michael Green has been hired to write a new script.
