1. What single image or short phrase pops into your mind when you hear ‘abortion’? When I hear abortion, the first thing that comes to my mind is that in our religion it is considered a sin, because it is like taking a life — almost like a (killing), which makes it feel very heavy and serious.
2. Name one way abortion can be beneficial or protective, and who it helps. Keep it concrete. Honestly, I personally don’t feel it is something good for anyone. But maybe in some situations, people think it protects the mother from extreme situations. Still, in my heart, it doesn’t feel like a proper solution.
3. Name one real harm or downside you worry about when you think of abortion. Be specific. I feel it brings a lot of harm. Not just physically, but emotionally too. Later on, a person might face guilt, stress, or even health problems. It’s not something that ends easily — its effects can stay for a long time.
4. Describe a clear situation where abortion would feel right to you — include who, why, and what makes it OK in that case. Abortion feels right to me only in a situation where the mother’s life is in danger. If doctors say that continuing the pregnancy could risk her life, then saving the mother becomes the priority, and in that case it feels justified.
5. Describe a specific scenario that would make abortion feel wrong to you — explain what crosses your personal line. It feels completely wrong when someone does it just for personal reasons like maintaining their figure or (financial issues). For me, ending a life for such reasons crosses a moral line, because one life is very precious.
