My native language is creole, but we used to talk French in the family since childhood. Since Mauritius is a multiracial island, so most Mauritians talk Creole, English, French, Hindi, Urdu, Chinese. π€£ At least if we can't talk all of them, we understand some words. π
The cuckoo you heard is just a message coming on my phone, just when I was recording.
