We really need Doom's music to be iconic. There's no reason this cannot be a captivating score like the Star Wars Imperial music
It is a total first world problem obviously, but Marvel theme music for all intents and purposes has been "fine" to "above average". We have a villain and storyline here that can really have the capacity to shoot an orchestra score or thematic music through the roof. Doom is a tragic character works more in tandem with who he is than arguably any villain besides Magneto (and I would argue Fox's First Class Magneto music was higher tier than Marvel's). Marvel has the chance to give us something elite tier to go with an elite character in a way that we hum the Star Wars Imperial music. I hope they can live up to that from an auditory standpoint as well as a theatrical one. I need something at least at Fassbender's Magneto level.........but hopefully exceeded (when we "heard it", theres the mental feeling of "awwww shit here we go"). We are owed that level of presence with a movie of this gravity.
