Guadalupe Peak in a week
For my birthday, i’m planning on doing a solo hike at guadalupe peak! I know august is a risky month with high temperatures but i do plan on doing an alpine start.
I would love any recommendations from people who have done the hike or just any advice going into this! Definitely packing a ton of water and food, headlamp, good shoes, a knife, and wind gear.
also curious to know if anybody dealt with any bear or cougar sightings? hear they’re in that area
