For me, it was a job shift , from farming to sales & marketing.
I almost left the soil, the routine, and the certainty of hard work I understood for a world of targets, pitches, and pressure. What pulled me back wasn’t fear alone , it was clarity. I realized I wasn’t running toward something, I was running away from uncertainty and comparison. Staying reshaped me more than leaving ever could. It taught me that growth doesn’t always mean changing fields , sometimes it means deepening roots. I learned to respect my pace, value my skills, and stop measuring success by someone else’s ladder.
Do I feel regret? Yes , Sometimes. But mostly, I feel relief and a quiet confidence that choosing stability was also a kind of courage.
I learned that, Not every “ almost ” is a missed chance. Some are self-trust in disguise.
It's so true that growth often comes from deepening our roots rather than constantly seeking new ground. Your journey highlights the importance of self-trust and understanding what truly matters
