Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris!
You guys- I have just found the most delightful film I have seen in ages. It's called Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris and it is perhaps even more relaxing than an episode of Great British Baking show.
It is beautiful to watch visually- gorgeous, vivid colors- fantastic art direction..
But the thing I found amazing is that the conflicts are relatively small and when they resolve, they resolve in a big, heartwarming way. They also have a lot of scenes that are pure ASMR to add to the calming Baking Show vibes.
On it's surface, this movie looks like it is really a movie for women to enjoy with all the talk of fashion and dresses. But my husband, whose favorite things to watch are largely sci fi/fantasy/action movies loved it as well. It was truly an incredible find on Netflix.
