What were your personal top 3 most impactful scenes in the whole Star Wars universe & why? ALL GOES !!!
Let me go first:
1) Final Duel between Maul and Kenobi (Rebels: S03 E20):
\- WHY?
Everything was perfect in this scene. Revenge, death, peace, forgiveness - all under 20 seconds battle. It was emotional when Obi-Wan held Maul like he held Qui Gon. And it was sad that Maul passed so lost and trapped in his search for revenge until his final breath. It was comforting to know he had peace in his death and powerful that Kenobi gave him that.
(I never understood why was Maul so under-represented in movies and TV-Series)
2) Luke Skywalker in Chapter 16: Rescue (Mandalorian S02 E08):
\-WHY?
I am the first to blame that I didn˙t fully comprehend Skywalkers powers, because I didn˙t have the chance to fully see it. We all kinda knew about it, but we didn´t actually see it, because movies weren´t that much of a comparable material to acknowledge his power and capabilities (although, there is a big gap between SW 4, 5, 6 and "The Mandalorian") . So the way he landed with his X-Wing (Red Five), the way he beat up Dark Troopers was executed perfectly. Green lightsaber, robotic arm - we were jumping out of our seats. Most badd-ass entrance of Luke. And then he revealed his younger face from 1977 (shown in 2020) - a fanboy´s dream come true. Not to mention, when Dinn Djarin took his helmet of for Grogu (tears down our face). Perfect job by Jon Favreau.
3) Darth Vader finds Ahsoka's Lightsaber (The Clone Wars - S07 E12):
\- WHY?
I would go on about Vader for years & years - the biggest movie villain. But in this scene, he is just a lost person, manipulated by dark presence. I felt he realised he trapped himself with Palpatine and Dark Side; no facial expression, but you could actually feel his regret in this scene when he found those dual lightsabers. He remembered his Snips, the Order, his Clones... and then the most saddest part - he looks up above to see Star Destroyer - and he remembers where his place is (the darkest place, the slave of a powerful Sith Lord). Heartbreaking scene for such a powerful and iconic character as Vader.
