#PandemicPersonalEcho COVID-19 I experienced one of the most difficult moments of my life during the pandemic.
I was the first to get infected. It started with a severe sore throat, so painful, it felt like my throat was being cut. I endured it for about 4 days, and then came the fever and cough.
Two days later, my husband began experiencing the same symptoms. It was just the two of us at home, and that made everything even more challenging.
In that difficult time, someone very special stepped in to help us - a teacher we supported in her studies. She bravely came to our house to bring foods and medicines, without fear of getting infected. By God's grace, she never got sick.
Thankfully, we both recovered without being hospitalized, but my cough lasted for almost 2 months.
That experience taught me the true meaning of kindness, courage and faith during uncertain times.
