Standing tall beneath a brilliant blue sky is the Capela do PalΓ‘cio Real das Passagens (Royal Chapel of the Palace of Royal Passages), here in Vendas Novas, Portugal.
A little piece of history, beautiful old architecture, sun-warmed wallsβ¦ and then you look up. π
SURPRISE! There's a stork's nest right on top of the bell tower! πͺΉπ€
I went looking at a chapel and came away with a reminder that history isn't the only thing that knows how to claim its place up high. Apparently, the local storks have excellent taste in real estate. ππ‘
Imagine the view from up there! And not a mortgage in sight. π€£
I love these little discoveries when you're out and about with a phone camera. You stop to capture a building, notice something unexpected, and suddenly the photograph has a whole extra story to tell. π±β¨
