A little stop somewhere along the A1, on the road to Vendas Novas… just long enough to stretch the legs and breathe beyond the car windows. 🚗🌿
Of course, the moment I stepped out, the sunlight began playing hide-and-seek through the trees—so naturally, the camera had to stretch its legs too. 😏📸☀️

🔥 THE CHAIR THAT LIED
At our accommodation in Vendas Novas, this hanging chair looked like the perfect place to settle in, sway gently and do absolutely nothing for a while.
There was just one small problem...
We were in the middle of a heat wave. 🥵
So there it hung—soft, peaceful and completely unused—quietly inviting us to sit while the weather whispered, “Go on…I dare you.” 😂
Some holiday furniture is made for relaxing. This one became a decorative reminder of the comfort we could have enjoyed under less volcanic circumstances.
