ISO a new tent!
Hey everyone! Longtime lurker here, and I need some recommendations on a new tent. My boyfriend and I are hoping to do a crap ton of camping this summer. We live in Alberta so we get out fair share of variety in weather conditions so wanting something durable.
Currently in the Coleman 9 person hampton tent. Love it. We have a queen tall mattress and it fits so nicely with room for another queen, and the standup room is so awesome. unfortunately, it’s a little large and hard to find sites sometimes that have a big enough pad. Also the door has a fibreglass pole that just snapped and it’s been a pain.
We are just ready to upgrade to something similar in height and able to fit our mattress with room for other things like chairs and suitcases, but also good quality and durability for weather. Willing to pay a good price in return for good quality poles and materials that will last us quite a few years for car trips.
I’ve been looking into the Kodiak 10x10 canvas tent. Super pricey but looks like a beast. Same with the Cabelas Alaskan Guide ones and the Gazelle T4. Anyone recommend anything? Thanks in advance!!!!!
