Anyone switch from trailer camping to tent camping?
We have two kids aged 3 and 6 and have been camping for 6 years in a hybrid trailer with 3 pop outs for sleeping. Because of gas prices, our trailer needing some repairs (not major) in the future, storage etc, we are considering selling the trailer and buying a large inflatable tent. We have a few friends with these tents and they are quite impressive. Besides the toilet I can’t think of any cons to switching from our trailer to a “glamping” styler tent. Has anyone done this? What’s your experience?
