Hi! This may be silly, but I’m not sure where else to post. Basically, my boyfriend is so into camping and I’ve always wanted to try it! We’re leaving tomorrow for the weekend, and my parents (who have never been camping) are totally freaking me out asking if I’m bringing anything to protect myself, saying it’s super dangerous and there’s tons of creeps in the woods, etc. long story short, they watch too much YouTube. Anyway, what is the likelihood of me getting hurt? 😭 I’m going either way because I’m an adult so the can’t forbid me or anything. They’re just making me super anxious.
