Carrie is a 1976 American supernatural horror film, adapted from Stephen King 's 1974 novel of the same name. Carrie White is a shy teenage girl who is constantly mocked and bullied at school. She develops the power of telekinesis and wreaks vengeance on her tormentors. The movie is the first in the Carrie franchise.
Although I had heard about this film, nobody had mentioned any spoilers. So, when I watched it a few years after its release, it packed a punch. Let’s just say, I literally jumped out of my seat. The storyline leads the viewer by the hand, perfectly, to deliver a heart-stopping shock.
