My barn find ticking away
100% taken apart and rebuilt. It needed a new main spring and intermediate wheel. My next steps are to sand down the plating on the case and electroplate a fresh layer of nickel. I also still need to source a fresh set of hands, which is proving to be somewhat difficult. I can find hour and minute hands on eBay. It’s the seconds hand that seems rare.
