Rey Kenobi
The final movie in the ST was always going to reveal more about Rey’s parentage. Both Treverrow’s and Terrio’s script do this, even if Treverrow’s continues with her being a nobody.
I think it would have actually worked well for her to be the granddaughter of Obi Wan and Satine. Not only do you get some validation of the rumors circulating around their romance, which gives Obi Wan more of a connection to Anakin and letting his Padawan pursue a relationship in secret, but it gives some power to the importance of the every man(woman) versus the “Chosen One”.
I think it would have tied into the PT and OG in a really organic way and played into the symmetry of the series ending with a Skywalker unhinged and a Kenobi being there to stop them, except maybe this time she saves him like Obi Wan wanted to do.
