Could this be the car model that inspired "Susie the Little Blue Coupe"

I just rewatched "Susie the Little Blue Coupe", a 1952 Disney short. It's on the "Walt Disney Gold Classic Collection" edition DVD of "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad". It isn't mentioned on the case; to get to it you have to play and win the trivia game in the bonus features section. The DVD doesn't tell you what it is until it starts.

I was curious what car or cars might have inspired that little roadster, so much smaller than other cars shown, at a time when most American cars were large and becoming ever larger. The Corvette would not appear for another year, the Thunderbird for two years. BTW despite the name, Susie is clearly depicted as a roadster, not a coupe.

I think I might have found it. The year before the "Susie" short was released, American auto manufacturer Crosley, known for tiny cars, released the 1951 Crosley Super Sport roadster. What do you think?
