Why did the Emperor wait until episode V to tell Vader about Luke?
The Enperor tells Vader that they have a "new enemy" and the he's the son of Skywalker in Empire Strikes Back. But that's 3 years since Luke blew up the Death Star, and you'd think with all the spies the Empire has, one of them would have fed the name Skywalker up the chain of command a long time earlier than that. So what took him so long to relay that to his apprentice?
