I feel like Cloak & Dagger was a tonally a great middle ground between the somewhat light Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Seasons 2-3 and the darker Netflix shows
Cloak & Dagger was a pretty unique show for the MCU, but tonally, it was a surprisingly good middle ground between what we had gotten from the MCU shows at that point. While it does tackle darker and mature themes, it's not as overly explicit in the blood and violence, and mostly relegating that to important dialogue, like a lot of the second and third seasons of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., while still having the action and fight scenes.
