I chose the movie Hachiko.
A very sad and touching film about the most loyal dog, a Japanese Akita dog, who waited for his master to come home until his death.
The film is based on a true story.
Ueno Hidesaburo, professor of agriculture at the University of Tokyo, has always loved and respected animals. She decided to buy a puppy. On November 10, 1923, Hachiko was born as the eighth member of an Akita litter. It got its name from here, it means eight in Japanese.
The professor visited the farm where the puppies were born and the puppy dog, as soon as he saw the professor, knew that he would be his master, he chose him himself.
He followed every step, a wonderful friendship developed between them and they became inseparable.
The professor traveled to the university by train every day, the dog always accompanied him and waited for him when he arrived home by train.
He knew exactly, to the minute, when his master would arrive.
They were not given much time, only 1.5 years, because the professor had a stroke and died while working.
The dog didn't understand why his owner didn't come by train, he waited patiently at the station until evening and every day after that. For nine years, until his death. The harsh weather didn't matter to him, his determination and loyalty, and of course his beloved master meant much more to him than dealing with the cold. He considered this his duty, he had to do this.
This movie is so touching, I cry every time I watch it.
In memory of Hachiko, several statues were erected in Japan, it symbolizes unity, love, and loyalty beyond the grave for the entire nation.

What a beautiful movie! Literally tears rolled down on my face ❤️ When visited Japan, I saw the statue of Hachiko outside Shibuya station in Tokyo .
