Considering Grand Seiko
Been looking ahead at saving up for a Grand Seiko. Part of me feels it might be a sin to go for anything BUT a Spring Drive, considering how enamored I am with that technology, but it sure would be easier to shoot for a quartz around $2700 (or even something a bit pricier that's still well under $6k for some of the cheapest Spring Drives I'm seeing).
Any thoughts on this? I know that the quality of GS quartz is supposed to be incredible, but I'm not sure how to feel. And when it comes to the quartz models, are there any recommendations? The GMT models caught my eye.
