tarp "foyer" ?
Relative newbie here -- camping this weekend with some drizzle called for. I have a decent dome tent with a rainfly, it got a good dousing last year and stayed dry. I'd like to add a tarp over the entrance to keep the worst of it off my camp chair etc. Car camping but not nearby - parked in a lot with a \~50-yard trek to the tent site. If I take a tarp and connect two corners to the back of my tent and two to tent poles in the front, will that compromise my rain fly?
