Best cruisers for customizing?
I love upgrading and customizing things, and I'm looking for a good cruiser-style bike to customize and make my own. I love Harley Sportsters, any Harleys really. I like the thought of big-bore kits, cams, and high-compression pistons, that sort of thing. I know Harleys aren't the most reliable or the cheapest, so I've also been looking at Japanese V-twins like Honda Shadows, but it feels like nobody makes engine parts, and few people make cosmetic parts for them. So far, I've considered Shadows, old Softails, Sportsters, Yamaha V Stars, and Kawasaki Vulcans. Is there anything I could be missing? All help is appreciated. Thanks!
