There is something timeless about putting pen to paper. Even though we live in a digital world, handwriting still has a unique value that technology cannot fully replace.
a. Do you still use cursive writing in your daily life? If so, when?
Yes, I do. Although I type most of my messages on my phone, I still use cursive writing when I write personal notes, make shopping lists, plan my daily tasks, or sign important documents. Writing by hand helps me slow down and organize my thoughts.
b. Do you think schools should continue teaching cursive writing, or should they focus more on digital skills? Why?
I believe schools should teach both. Digital skills are essential for today's world, but cursive writing improves handwriting, concentration, memory, and fine motor skills. A balanced education should prepare students for the future without losing valuable traditional skills.
c. Has technology changed the way you write and communicate?
Absolutely. Technology has made communication much faster and more convenient. I can instantly connect with people around the world, share ideas, and learn new things. However, I also believe that handwritten notes carry a personal touch and emotional value that digital messages often cannot match.
In my opinion, the future isn't about choosing between handwriting and technology—it's about using both in the right situations. Each has its own purpose, and together they help us communicate more effectively.
