Thank you everyone: Behold - the best thumbprint cookies ever
Thank you so much everyone that offered tips and tricks and recipes for the thumbprint cookies for my sister-in-law's wedding shower today.
They aren't visually perfect, but by all that is holy, they are delicious.
I made the peach preserves with just peaches and sugar (wife can't have citric acid) and made the Chocolate stuff as well. I learned it's a Pot de Créme technically. Bakers chocolate that I sweetened (wife can't have soy) an egg, a dash of espresso powder, and heavy cream to emulsify (sp?) it.
So. Good.
