We all have those little wins that we don't pay much attention to, right? People might say, "Oh, that wasn't a big deal," but science says it's very important to recognize these tiny wins. Why? Because celebrating them makes our brains release dopamine, which makes us feel good. This helps us keep going and get rid of that annoying feeling that we're not good enough (imposter syndrome).

Tiny Win Spotlight
Have you achieved something small recently that you're proud of but usually don't think about?
- Detail the exact small achievement, when it happened, and why you downplay it despite feeling proud inside.
- Why do you usually make it seem less important? What is that little voice in your head that tells you it's "nothing"?

ATTACHMENT: PAPER DRAWING
Draw a trophy base + star above it. Inside the star, draw an object/icon that symbolizes your recent achievement (ex: coffee cup for woke up early). Write #TinyWinConfess and the name of the object anywhere clear.

Rules & Reminders:
- Pink/Grey BADGES (5+ marketplace badges) only
- Be subscribed to and

- Closes at 12 entries.
- Failure to follow any of the given rules may be subject to disqualification or deduction of rewards!

VERY VERY IMPORTANT NOTES FOR THIS ACTIVITY:
BASE REWARD is 250,000 MLX per participant. Duplicate entries won’t be entertained .

***I set the comments to be visible only after 72 hours. This activity will officially close once the comments are made public. This approach is intended to be fair to those who participate early. I typically provide feedback on each entry, detailing any deductions. However, I've noticed that some participants submit their entries after the comments are visible, which allows them to benefit from insights that others may have missed. This policy aims to ensure a level playing field for all participants.***

I have a small win as I was playing football today. I felt happy and active because I actually went out and played instead of staying lazy. Even though I enjoyed it, I still told myself, “It’s just playing, it’s nothing special.” I make it seem less important because that voice in my head says, “This is normal, everyone plays.” But it matters because I used my time well, stayed active, and felt good inside.

A small win I had recently was finishing my study task on time, even though I really didn’t feel like doing it. It happened a few days ago, and honestly, I was proud of myself for staying focused and not giving up. But I still downplayed it, telling myself, “It’s just homework, it’s not a big deal.”
The reason I make it seem less important is because that little voice in my head says, “Everyone does this, it’s normal, why are you acting like it’s special?” But deep down, I know it mattered because it took effort, discipline, and pushing through laziness. And that is something to be proud of.

Tiny Win Spotlight 🌟
Recently, I managed to study properly for my board exams for a full focused session without getting distracted. It happened just a few days ago. It may sound small, but usually I lose focus quickly, so staying consistent even for that time made me feel proud inside.
But I still downplay it because in my mind I think, “It’s just studying… everyone does that, what’s special?” That little voice tells me it’s nothing big and that I should only be proud of huge achievements like getting top marks.
The reason I make it seem less important is because I compare myself to others and expect bigger results. But in reality, this small step matters because it shows improvement and discipline. It’s a sign that I’m getting better, even if slowly and that’s worth recognizing.

Recently, I had a small win that I usually don’t talk about… but deep inside, it made me feel really proud.
A few days ago, I managed to wake up early in the morning without forcing myself. It may sound like a very small thing, but for me, it was not easy. I usually struggle with maintaining a proper routine, and waking up early always feels like a challenge.
Even though I felt happy and productive that day, I still told myself, “It’s nothing… people do this every day.” That little voice in my head always tries to make my achievements feel smaller than they really are. It compares me with others and makes me think that my effort doesn’t count.
But honestly, I know this was a step forward for me. It showed that I am trying, improving, and becoming better day by day. Maybe it’s a tiny win for others, but for me, it’s progress — and progress matters.

Have you achieved something small recently that you're proud of but usually don't think about?
Yes, I wake up early in the morning to feed the pigeons. They only come in the morning, so I make sure they don’t go hungry. In the evening, they return and sit by my window and spend the night there.
Detail the exact small achievement, when it happened, and why you downplay it despite feeling proud inside.
This happens every day. I wake up early just for them, even when I feel sleepy. I usually think it’s just a small, normal thing, so I don’t consider it a big achievement, but deep inside it makes me feel happy and proud.
Why do you usually make it seem less important? What is that little voice in your head that tells you it's “nothing”?
Because it feels like a simple daily habit. The little voice in my head says, “It’s nothing special, anyone can do it,” but for me, it means kindness and care.

It is so easy to fall into the trap of thinking our best qualities are "just routine." We spend so much time fighting against our weaknesses that when we actually lean into strengths, we barely notice them.

Have you achieved something small recently that you’re proud of but usually don’t think about?
I recently crossed a major item off my to-do list, and I did it exactly when I said I would. I finished the task right on schedule. Whether it’s a personal project or a professional responsibility, I looked at the deadline, mapped out the steps, and hit the mark. While most people might be scrambling at the last minute, I was already done. Inside, there is a quiet sense of relief and pride, like a puzzle piece clicking perfectly into place.

Why do you downplay it despite feeling proud inside?
I downplay it because I’ve always been this way. My brain naturally thinks in terms of timelines and flow—I’m the person who keeps everything on track, almost like a living, breathing Gantt chart. Because staying organized and hitting milestones feels as natural to me as breathing, I assume it isn't "special." I tell myself that since I didn't have to struggle or sweat to make the deadline, it wasn't a "real" achievement. I treat my consistency as a baseline rather than a skill.

Why do you usually make it seem less important? What is that little voice in your head that tells you it’s "nothing"?
I make it seem less important because I’ve turned a talent into a requirement. The little voice in my head is very dismissive; it constantly tells me, "It’s just routine." It whispers that I don't deserve a gold star for simply doing what was expected or for following a plan I created. It tries to convince me that a win only counts if it was incredibly difficult or if I had to overcome a massive disaster to get there.

*** Not everyone has the mental discipline to stay on track or the foresight to manage a schedule without falling behind.

A recent small achievement I’m quietly proud of: helping someone understand something they were stuck on, and seeing that moment where it finally clicked for them. It might’ve been something simple—like explaining an idea, helping them phrase their thoughts, or guiding them through a problem—but it happened pretty recently, and it mattered in that moment.

Because it doesn’t feel “big” enough to celebrate. There’s this tendency to think: “Well, that’s what I’m supposed to do anyway.” So instead of recognizing it as something meaningful, it gets categorized as just part of the routine.

That little voice usually sounds like:

“It wasn’t that hard.”

“Anyone could’ve done that.”

“It doesn’t really count as an achievement.”

But that voice misses something important—small moments like that are real impact. Just because something is easy for you doesn’t mean it’s insignificant for someone else.

A recent small achievement I’m proud of is that I spoke confidently in front of others without feeling nervous. This happened recently, and even though it may look normal to others, it was a big step for me. 💬

I often downplay it because that inner voice tells me, “It wasn’t perfect, so it doesn’t matter.” But the truth is, trying and improving matters more than being perfect.

This tiny win helped me feel more confident and believe in myself. It showed me that I’m growing, even if it’s step by step. 🌱

Recently, I participated in a logo contest on Zoomex crypto exchange and I won $20. Initially the ideas were not working well but a cup of hot black tea resolute. It wasn’t a huge competition with massive prize money, but it was something I created, something I put effort into and it got recognized. It happened not long ago, and for a moment, I genuinely felt proud. Like, “Okay" I can actually do this.”
But almost immediately, I downplayed it because I was expecting first prize 100$.

I took sips of hot cup of tea and told myself , “It’s just $20.” “Anyone could’ve done that. It’s not a big deal.

That little voice in my head is always trying to shrink my achievements. It compares this small win to bigger successes I haven’t achieved yet. and makes this one feel insignificant.
But the truth is,
I created something from scratch
I put myself out there
And I actually won
That’s not “nothing.”

My cup of tea made possible the small win.

This tiny win made me feel fresh, motivated, and more in control of my day. Sometimes, the smallest steps bring the biggest changes. 💫
