A few weeks ago, I started planning an MCU rewatch before Avengers: Doomsday.
A few weeks ago, I started planning an MCU rewatch before *Avengers: Doomsday*.
Then it spiraled completely out of control.
What started as “I’ll rewatch the MCU movies” has evolved into a **153-entry Marvel Multiverse Completionist Watchlist** spanning nearly 40 years of Marvel screen history.
The project currently includes:
MCU films
MCU Disney+ shows
Marvel One-Shots
Special Presentations
Netflix Marvel
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Agent Carter
Runaways
Cloak & Dagger
Inhumans
Helstrom
Fox X-Men universe
Deadpool trilogy
Fox Fantastic Four films
Fantastic Four (2015)
Raimi Spider-Man trilogy
Amazing Spider-Man films
Sony Spider-Man Universe
Spider-Verse films
X-Men: The Animated Series
X-Men ’97
Blade trilogy
Ghost Rider films
Daredevil / Elektra
Howard the Duck (yes, really)
Upcoming projects like Spider-Noir, Wonder Man, Vision Quest, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day
The watchlist starts with:
**Howard the Duck (1986)**
and currently ends with:
**Avengers: Doomsday**
So instead of doing an MCU rewatch, I’ve somehow ended up creating a chronological tour through almost four decades of Marvel film and television.
A few things about the project:
I’m using release order, not timeline order.
TV seasons are integrated individually.
I’m not worried about finishing before Doomsday releases.
I’m treating it as a long-term hobby project rather than a race.
Nothing gets skipped, no matter how bad the reputation.
One thing I found interesting while building it is how many “separate” Marvel universes now feel connected because of the multiverse:
Tobey Maguire Spider-Man
Andrew Garfield Spider-Man
Deadpool
X-Men
Fantastic Four
Venom
Spider-Verse
At this point, almost everything feels like part of the same giant Marvel screen history.
So I’m curious:
**If you were building the ultimate Marvel multiverse watchlist, what would you add, remove, or change?**
And has anyone else attempted something this ridiculously large before?
