ELI5 If NPI's and License numbers are public what stops people from ordering things under physicians names
Hi, I was curious because I am trying to memorize drug dosages and concentrations to prepare for paramedic training. I was looking at a website, and all they needed was an NPI number and a name. I googled a couple of doctors I know of, and NPi's state License numbers are just there. Just seems kinda scary that one could do that, that easily.
