going camping for the first time next month. What do i actually need that nobody tells beginners about
me and a few friends booked a campsite for a weekend next month. i got a tent and a sleeping bag off amazon and figured thats pretty much it.
then i started reading threads on here and realized i might be way underprepared.
not looking for a generic checklist that tells me to bring sunscreen. more like the stuff you didnt think about until you were actually out there and went oh i wish i had that.
what do you bring that you would never skip? the small stuff that makes the difference between a good trip and wanting to go home early.
also is there anything beginners always overpack? because i dont want to show up with a lot of stuff for 2 nights
