All my life i've been around handy people. When I was a boy I was around my dad and granddad doing all sorts of things. Fixing cars, hammering nails, sawing planks, building stuff, digging ditches, mowing grass etc etc.
My dad is a mechanic and i've always been interested, learning, working at home under supervision. But now that i've bought my own home, I feel like i'm scared to start something on my own. I'm used to doing things under supervision and I might not have the correct level of theoretical knowledge to carry out entire projects on my own according to plan and making sure beforehand that I have all the tools and materials that I need. I'm not used to holding the wheel.
How did you get over the fear and uncertain feeling of carrying out your own DIY projects? #diy source
