I always want my #Tanglers to feel safe outside & inside…

I always want my #Tanglers to feel safe outside & inside , no matter what.
so I'm back with another #lifeprotip for all my insecure tanglers.

This time:
How to fend off a potential [human] predator ( a gender-neutral tip)

Imagine this:
You're out there in the streets. You're feeling volatile enough as it is, but then.. you make eye-contact and it's not the flirty kind..
From 15 meters away you already sense 'this person is up to no good' and indeed you just might get approached.. and it might be closer than comfort for you.. and you don't want that.
So what do you do?
Here's my number one trick to scare away every single person that 'would just like to have a conversation.. or more' Works for people that want to rob you, as-well as those that want to get into your pants..
and it's as simple as can be:

START COUGHING!
Don't you underestimate the psychological damage that the #pandemic left in everyone's mind.. instead: make us of it.
It's pretty much pre-programmed that a stranger who might want your belongings still values their own health and that's why this simple trick 'just works' . I've tried it times and again and instead of 'making way' or 'crossing sidewalks' simply coughing your living soul out will repel almost everyone from approaching you further, if you want that.
They no longer want your belongings, your change, your opinion nor your booty.

All there is to this trick is staying calm but confident, imagine the worst sounds you could get out of the human body and try to replicate them..
Obviously don't do the sexy 'hawk tuah' vibes trying to spit your love-snot into everyone's direction but instead make it meaningful.

Bring in your own touch by imagining having a deadly disease and just go 'with the flow' You know you got it in you.

And that my friends is how to stay safe outside while remaining some dignity.
(Of course practicing some #selfdefense won't hurt either.)

See you next time, and stay healthy! #tflpt #lpt #advice

Repel can only be qualified if there is an "imminent and actual" danger to be defended... Life after your privacy is a "forest filled with woods".

I no longer feel safe on city streets these days and I don't think coughing will help.
But otherwise - always a good idea! (I've even done it already lol)

Lifemanship?

such a meaningful word. there's no expression for it in my native language, maybe 'the art of expressing superiority' and that doesn't sound very humble

Spot on with the inference about "the art of expressing superiority."

However, your advice to drive away would-be attackers is a very clever ruse. In the UK, people are put-off by religious fervor and extreme eccentricity.

The film "School for Scoundrels" sums up the more unpleasant aspects of Lifemanship, perfectly. I saw the 1960 version when I must have been aged 7 or 8. The cad always gets his comeuppance. Watch it if you can. Very amusing.

The trailer/script states "Lifemanship is the science of being one up on your opponents at all times. It is the art of making him feel less desirable, less worthy... less blessed."

I think it can work. I also have one recommendation. I reach into my pocket and make sure I have still pepper spray. It also works in the event of a dog attack 🐕
