tian weapons,' which were weapons you could craft with a limited resource that get multiple RANDOM statbuff, that you in no way can influence other than starting materials. So its possible to get very strong weapons AND very bad weapons from the exact same materials.

so i wanted to turn auto-save off to make grinding a bit easier, since i could quit out the game without risking losing precious resources for sub-par weapons.
And I saw that you just were not able to do that. Autosave is on forever.

Why is this? This does not make the game any more fun, and makes the grind more of a slog. Killing monsters is fun, and i don't mind random drops and prepping for a hunt, but the excel-sheeting grind you have between the hunts is annoying and doesn't make anything better. Does Capcom really want me to have a lot of awful weapons in my inventory just because they want me to play longer? No, this doesn't keep me engaged, Just give me the ability to spin the wheel for the best weapons, please.

This could just be a conversation of bad game-design, but i have another example:

Slay the Spire is a rougelike deck-builder, and in Slay the Spire it is possible to quit out of the game and repeat the same floor again. It's a card game and the deck is shuffled the exact same every time you reset, so you can play more optimally if you make a mistake, and it is fun to find the optimal plays to barely scrape through an encounter, that was a bit too hard for the current deck. There's certainly a conversation about that it removes difficulty, but this is essentially a built-in easy-mode because it really doesn't change the game for a person that wants to be challenged, AND it makes it possible to recover a decent run from a single missplay. Noone forces you to save-scum, so don't do it if you find that it takes away from the experience. But idc, the game is meant to be fun.

source Socio - A WebSocket Real-Time Communication API Full-stack framework

Socio is a WebSocket-based full-stack reactive data-binding framework. It eliminates the REST API layer entirely by letting the browser client issue SQL queries (AES-256-GCM encrypted at build time) directly over a persistent duplex WebSocket connection to a `SocioServer` instance. The server acts as a transactional middleware between the DB and all connected clients — executing queries, then pushing state deltas to all subscribed clients automatically whenever underlying data changes. The client-side `SocioClient` exposes reactive `.query()` and `.subscribe()` primitives, meaning the frontend stays in sync with the DB across all sessions without polling, manual state management, or any handwritten API routes.
