Pocahontas and John Smith + Jane and Tarzan
IMO best Disney couples out there theres so many more. I just didn't want to name much, but learning about each other's cultures, the beautiful bonding scenes, these are just my favorite parts of the movies. Let me give examples: When Smith and Pocahontas get to know eachother and they talk to Grandmother Willow, when Jane teaches tarzan and the whole Strangers Like Me music video. These are just the most beautiful bonding moments where it just makes sense that they have chemistry its not like you're betrothed, not like you liked them for looks in fact both of them initially were people who were scared of one another because of stereotypes and perception but then they come close and break that barrier between them and realise that they're actually more than what they see on the outside. This is truly even more beautiful than beauty, and the beasts don't judge a book by its cover because it's another level, it's not like these people looked like beasts, but it's that Jane and Tarzan have never seen what others like each other were before, Pocahontas and Smith have never seen another like each other before. It's just beautiful how it comes together and makes sense. Comparatively, Phoebus and Esmeralda are great. I always thought she had more of a bond with quasi and that's why I'm a little ehh because she kind of seduced Phoebus in a way, idk their romance isn't as clear to me, despite him being courageous, I didn't see the closeness, as for mulan and shang they didn't have that many bodning moments lol but they're fine just more surface level like they don't know eachothers life stories yet then suddenly they get married lol just a few comparisons. To sum it up I think its gorgeous, another great couple is Milo and Kida but not the best becuase they didn't kiss jk they're amazing again they had their night swim , their walk through atlantis and her showing him her culture, him telling her about his crew, them telling eachother histories started out as strangers curious about one another then they both became heroes, she was the hero of atlantis and together with milo he saved her and they both saved atlantis. It was beautiful too lol. Atlantis is my favorite
