I still don't understand who "the chosen one" is
STAR WARS REBELS SPOILER
So anakin "was" or "is" the chosen one, or is it Luke?
Obviously, the prophecy didn't specify that when it said the chosen one was to "bring balance to the force," it meant also killing fellow jedis, so they have the same amount of jedis with the sith
But besides that. Who is the chosen one? Anakin or Luke?. I keep seeing people say anakin, even after everything he has done anakin when he turned into Darth vader he was still the prophecised "chosen one," and he also killed Darth sidious
But the episode in rebels when maul found out obi wan was there watching after luke and was dying and asked obi Wan, "is he the chosen one" and obi Wan responded "he is" and maul last words being "he will avenge us" then after that showing Luke while he was still a child on dattoine
So up to that point was obi-one was still talking about anakin? Obi one had witnessed anakin turn to the dark side himself, killing other jedis and fought him on Mustafar, and still believed anakin was the chosen one?
