Organized outdoor trips, esp. for retired folks?
Hey y'all,
Trying to round up some organized outdoor group suggestions for my dad, who would like to do more outdoor adventuring but doesn't feel like he has folks to go with. He would like to do backpacking trips, canoe camping etc. I think he would enjoy trips with a service aspect too. He is in his mid 60s.
I am already aware of Sierra Club trips, they look great. But looking for other options too.
There is no AMC chapter in his area (though maybe he could join their trips anyway?)
Also open to suggestions for forums to meet travel partners.
