Satan's first and greatest deception was to tell people that they would not die. Immortality of the soul is a leading belief in most religions. Neither technology nor rituals will bring you back to life. The moment you die, you do not exist. You don't exist, you have no consciousness, you don't know what happens in the world of the living. The Bible explicitly says this. Only Jesus and faith in God can bring you back to life. Because Jesus, while living on earth as a man, did not commit any sin and gave his life as the price for our sins. The wages of sin is death, and only Jesus' sacrifice pays for the sin you have committed. Technology can create avatars that will look like you, speak like you, even think like you, but after death you will not be aware that such avatars exist and what they do. These avatars, although outwardly very similar to you, will not be you. It is not true that they will have your soul. Your soul will return to God and only He is able to restore it to you.
