First Foray into Palette Knife Flowers
My parents' best friends asked me to make a wedding cake for their daughter 2 days before the event after discovering that the froufrou caterer they hired was not planning to have cake of any kind as part of his "inspired" meal plan. Challenge accepted.
They seemed pretty happy with it. There are definitely things I'll do differently next time, and I definitely need more practice with the technique, but there was cake at the wedding, and I got to shame an arrogant foodie by being a good friend.
