Why won’t they just release the OG cuts of the OG trilogy?
I know 🤓, I just think it would be ideal for Gen X and people that want to see the films as they were originally released. Disney have restored the colour timing of the trilogy with the new 4Ks but some people don’t want Vader to scream nooooo (the only change I find unforgivable) the special editions do otherwise make the films more immersed with the prequels and even disneys new lore but why does George Lucas want the OG cuts to degrade from time?
If I were George I’d still want to preserve the work I busted my ass for even if I were unsatisfied with the results, there are great fan restorations but I cba wiring up my laptop to my TV or watching old DVDs (letterboxed laserdisc masters) we need a proper criterion restoration of the best elements!
