Is Treasure Planet a sifi or science fantasy?
So before I continue, i will admit it has been a few years since I had last seen this film so some details i may have forgotten. Anyway. but I found out its labeled as a science fantasy and from what I could look up; science fantasy basically means science fiction and magic scrambled together, kinda like star wars with its advanced technology and the force.
Though I don't recall anything magical in the film that couldn't be explained as advanced technology. You could say morph or those space whales could be supernatural with their abilities like defying the laws of gravity but with alien species you could literally make them capable of anything.
Please do share me your thoughts and if I am missing anything or misunderstanding.
