When I was a kid, my family would often go car camping. We'd be sleeping in tents and go hiking and all but we'd also often go to restaurants for many of our meals and once even went to an amusement park. Recently I went on another camping trip where I stayed in a tent but planned on relying on restaurants for food.
Some people might consider this glamping but I've always thought of glamping as where people stay in fancy cabins or basically bring their bed with them and then explore nature. I like how doing the opposite is a lot cheaper than staying in hotels and doesn't need as much food planning (I'm not a big fan of campfires, smoke gives me a headache and I live in California so wildfires). Does anyone else camp like this? #camping #activity source
