Advice choosing between the new pack I have now, or the other one that is on sale.
Last year I bought a Seek Outside Divide 4800. I am 6'3" and I need a big quilt but it wouldn't fit into the Durston Kakwa 55 that I had. So I sold the Kakwa and bought a Seek Outside Divide 4800 because it holds over 70 liters. Well I emailed the guy who made the quilt and he said it is safe to compress it down a lot more than I was. The other pack I had wanted to get, the Hyperlite Mountain Gear Southwest was the same price at the time but it didn't hold as much. But now they have a bigger size available and it is 20% off. Plus it comes with hip belt pockets which the Seek Outside doesn't.
Would it be a good idea to try and sell this Seek Outside pack so I can buy the other one that's on sale? I am unsure if I could sell it for the $360 I need to buy the other pack. I bought the Seek Outside pack brand new for $450 and it has never been used.
Any advice would be appreciated!
