got my first watch
Yes I am an engineer lol
But seriously I decided to reward myself and got my first big boy watch: a Junghans Max Bill Automatic
Admittedly, I wasn’t big into watches but I understand the appeal now. I’ve been obsessed with this watch and do not regret getting it. Everything from the typography, simplicity of the dial, the proportions and even the way light hits the crystal at different angles. It somehow feels both vintage and modern. Definitely feels great to wear and adds a layer of confidence.
I originally looked at more traditional luxury watches but this one immediately clicked with me. It feels pretty understated and intentional rather than flashy which I think fits my personality and style more.
I’ve also found myself appreciating the Bauhaus design behind it and started browsing a bunch of watches online looking at their designs too.
Definitely feels like the beginning of a hobby.
